Making your own wedding favours can be tempting but if you have a large number of guests, or are not very experienced in crafts it may be a false economy. You may not be happy with the results or get very sick of making the same thing over and over again.
If you are strapped for cash, why not write an individual message to each guest in their place card? It will take time and effort but is free and will make a particularly thoughtful keepsake for your guests.
