Wedding Fayres are the ideal opportunity to meet the people who can offer you the services you will require for your wedding and to see the quality of their work. The exhibitors can arrange appointments with you to discuss your requirements in more detail, or even book for your wedding day then and there!Wedding Fayres are held locally, usually in Hotels and Town Halls or anywhere where there is a large space for exhibitors to show you what they have on offer. There is sometimes, but not always special offers just for that specific wedding fayre, so it is useful to keep your ear to the ground, as you might bag a bargain!
Traditionally, Wedding Fayres/Fairs are held between January and May, September to early November, but here at the Wedding Organizer we have noticed that summer wedding fayres are becoming popular as they give the hotel hosting the fayre the opportunity to show off their facilities when the gardens are in full bloom and you can get an idea of how to frame your photographs or may be have a marquee set up in the grounds. You also get the chance to talk with the wedding co-ordinator and discuss in detail what you want on the day i.e. fireworks – are there any restrictions or releasing balloons at the end of the evening, would there be any objections. We feel at The Wedding Organizer that it is always better to talk in person with the venue, photographer, dress designer etc. as you not only get a feel for their product but you can also get a feeling for the person themselves and this is very important as you will be in contact with them for the period of your planning arrangements and you need to feel comfortable and at ease with them.
Wedding Fayres also give you the chance to see what facilities the host venue offers, and a chance to walk around the rooms in which you could hold your reception – or in some cases even get married.
Over the summer The Wedding Organizer will be creating a new format for wedding fayres, which will offer the venue an opportunity to give more information about their wedding fayre and the venue itself. So keep popping back to our site for any updates and to let us know of any fayres you feel should be featured.
