Let mother-in-laws know the colour scheme of the bridal party outfits well in advance so that they don't have to worry about clashing colours in the photos.
If your bridesmaids are different shapes, choose different bridesmaid dress styles to flatter their figures but all made in the same fabric or same colour so that they co-ordinate overall.
Consider making the male attendants wear hired shoes, few men have perfect dress shoes that will be polished and perfect for the big day.
